Anything is possible, but these are the things you need to look out for: 1) Stud pattern or PCD. Mk5 Golf is 5x112 (5 being the number of studs and 112 being the diameter of the circle if you drew it crossing the center of each stud). Mk2 Golf is 4x100. So you would either need to fit adapters or re-drill your disks / drums if poss, or fit aftermaket disks / drums drilled for 5x112. Good website for PCD's of each car is here: www.alloyguide.co.uk/2) The offset, again on the guide above it gives the range for each car. You need to combine this with the width of the rim to see if it will stick out under the arches etc. If you are using adapters for the PCD, add these to the offset of the wheel. 3) Center bore, the size of the hole in the center of the wheel, needs to be large enough to fit over your hub. 4) Height of wheel with tyres on. I am assuming that the stock Mk2 wheel is either 13 or 14 inches, and these will probably be 17 inches or something. Use the following calculator to make sure you get the right size tyre so you don't increase the rolling diameter of the wheel, as this will upset the speedo etc. www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.htmlI think that is it

Are those alloys not 18"? Not 100% sure but may have clearance issue. Have you already bought them? They'd look great on my MK4
