that looks like a damned sweet weld!!!! goood going there steve! you need to sort me out with my welding! i'm [glow=red,2,300]crab[/glow]..... hehe. so today well and yesterday and thursday (not friday cos my grandad got ruuuushed to hospital ) karl and i started MOT prep on the bug, it needs new inner bushes and one needle bearing, i think it needs a new handbrake cable but the one i thought was broken wasn't-cheers conna! just stick it all back and get some smart tyres and i'll have a legal bug! might go to john to get the MOT done- how much do you charge Muskrat? take care!!! stevee i'll gladly try and help you with the welding, though im hardly an expert, but as for crabs cant help with that mate

a welding masterclass would be really cool!!!i I think you miss the point, a welding class needs to be very hot, in fact molten at about 1300-1400 degrees C

i did think about breaking it but although it may not look it in the pics, it was too good to break. Not going for a show winner but it should be nice when finished, chris is doing some fantastic work with the welder. this is the lower front panel with old rust and accident damaged cut out. hand made repair panel chassis straightend with new upper front panel tacked in place and new door fully lined up. I am doing a full project blog however its a bit behind at the moment. www.madmatz.org/project-bay-blog/

Looking good, or should I say better This is the big problem with all older cars, there's little or no paint and corrosion protection in any of the box sections and closing panels the lower inner front valance looks like never even sore the paint gun before the bus left the factory, a coat of Grey primer at the most
