Hello again The problem with the engine was that the flywheel had come loose . the reason for this was the dowel holes were slightly oval(second hand 200mm). Stripped engine and no further damage so replaced gland nut,washer, crank oil seal, "o" ring and dowels. Brand new flywheel and re-drilled the crank(many thanks to Ben who works at O'Briens toolmakers in Kettering for the reamer) Didn't run very well until Wayne Smith came round and stated the obvious which triggered the swapping of HT leads to the correct place. Running a treat now

Just to follow up I now have to sort the lights and loosen the track rod ends for the limp wristed gut at Kwik Fit(probably turning it the wrong way lol) . Nerf bar not damaged so hopefully he should bve back on the road soon and you can see it in the flesh Tim
