Cheers guys bit more done, nice box of bit arrived: fitted the solid mount stripped top end off and fitted spacers and shims to lower compression, and fitted new clutch so engine is ready to back in TMW thanks for looking andy

This is the other seriously fast dub (the other being gdubs golf) that the KUDC can cheer on with pride. That said, we've a few other speedy dubs, ickyketseddie to mention but one! Cant wait to see this beast on the strip! Steev

fair bit done today mostly cleaning the engine parts to put back on need to order some gaskets etc for later in the week. Fitted the long block, Im going to take the oil feed for the turbo straight fornm the oil pump and return in to the side of the sump below the leval of the turbo. does any body know were to get good quality tinware ? thinking of using the BZP plated stuff cheers andy

hi all not much done this weeked due to a family birthday :whistle: any way spent hours grinding the inside of the inlet manifold to smooth it out and radius the internal corners fitted the BOV and painted the inlet plenums fingers crossed get a bit more doen next week end, ive got to sort out were im getting the porsche cooling from as i cant find good tinware. Got so much too do and so little time lol cheers andy

Steve dead line just a bit would like to be at the big bang with it but thats not looking good, so much still to do but i guess if you do it yourself it does take longer but thats the fun in it for me cheers andy

good weekend apart from no racing but spent hours on ebay and worked on the car bolting and welding most things into there final resting place. so when i get my porka cooling kit and new injectors this week i may be ready for the first start up . I will still have to finish the water injection, fit the boost controller and get the car rolling road tuned, mot,ed before big bang, but i can start it a big mile stone
so im a bit further ahead than i thought i would be last week
so looking good

cooling came today its starting to come together. more bits in the post boost controller 3 bar map, sensor and a sheet of copper to make my exhaust gasket cheers andy
