Anywhere i can get my bug sprayed locally?? I only want a section on my door doing so i'm unsure whether i'd be better doing it myself!?

if you can get an exact colour match, i would be doing it myself if i was you , it would be cheaper and its not that hard, have a go yourself bud i dont know locally maybe some else can point you somewhere

I probably will do it myself, i hear halfords do colour mixing if i give them the code. Eventually though i think the car will need a full respray

yea he is he works for rs repairs he did mine on a saturday pm, he was pretty good if you ring him tell him lisa with the yellow bug sent ya ;D ;D ;D who no's u might get discount

If your going to do it yourself don't use rattle can's, the problem is the paint is too thin and the can does not have anywhere near the same pressure as a spray gun. I run my new Gravity feed gun ;D at between 50-70 psi, this depends what paint I'm applying at the time. As to Halfords paint which is made by Holt's, the colour match is spot on, but the paint is very similar to cellulose and stays very soft, when compared to synthetic enamel or 2 PAK. If you use there paint my advise is lacquer it afterward's otherwise every time you wax your motor some of the surface finish will rub off I've also been asking around about paint suppliers, and mr afwro has said about Sayers Motor factors, however I'm not sure how good there are at matching, but if you have the Vdub paint coding for you motor then that's half the battle.
