;)Hey all, I'm looking for a decent, local, trustworthy garage (if that actually exists : to do some necessary servicing on my daily driver Golf Mkiv GTTDi... cambelt, struts, general service etc. Cheaper than Autohaus.... but not those bloody 'specialists' at MJP again.... grrr Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated Cheers ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Matt

Yep DG are probably your best bet around here, as to MJP
NEVER NEVER, EVER USE THEM FOLKS, yes they are specialists at extracting loads of money from your wallet without you getting value for money, or the job done properly. (please note admin, this is not libelous as it all true unfortunately, they have a list of Dub customers a mile long that would back me up. Quite frankly I do know how they have stayed in business so long)

£200 that's more or less what he wanted to charge me to rebuild to front bay headlights, about 3 years ago. I politely told him that i could buy two new ones and get change for that, and he said "no you can't" and i thought hang about mate you with the logo on the door and how many years in the trade..........blah blah blah, as i got back into my car and drove off. tosser ;D
