You only ever need 2 things Duck tape & WD-40 If it doesn't move and it should - WD-40 If it does move and it shouldn't - Ducktape Repairs anybody......................?

Oh yes that reminds me Mr 66. Old tools are great, I've a Large pre war screwdriver ;D which has a flat at the top of the shaft, near the ferrell to allow the use of an adjustable spanner for extra purchase. The width of the blade is about 5/8 of an inch and it fits the Singer 45K 58 an absolute treat. I also have a similar aged 2" wood chisel which is very good for many car related jobs and comes in handy for scrapping down metal work of old paint and removing surface rust before getting out the sand blaster. The steel from which the chisel is made from, takes an edge very well and keeps it even when its being used for the above jobs. I could boar you all about why pre 1945 steel is inherently better quality than that which is available today, but if I do LOOBY will tell me off, so I'll shut up now
