hi mate looking good, hub nuts, there real tight!! ive undone them on my bus 3 times now! long story. you will want a 32 mm socket or was it 36mm i forget, i used a dirty great socket extension, which i then slide a 40x40 steel box section over the top that is about 5 foot long( more leverage thats what the romans said) and its still tight, you'll want the car in gear, handbrake, chocked, and maybe some bods in the car too! i done that with two peeps in the car (and one of them was a big person) and i still made the car move!! if you local to higham i can bring over the tools if your stuck.

oh and i had my wheels done at 'panelcraft' on the sanders lodge in rushden, was a while back but they did a good job, i had to get them blasted first, but theres plenty of places to get that done.

Invested in hub nut smacker and a chuffin big knocking stick IT WORKED YESSSSSSSSSSSSS THIS WEEKEND:- fitted new inner and outer rear torsion bushes (easier than i expected) new chrome torsion covers and stainless bolts lowered her another spline (sitting on the deck even without the engine in) too low fitted casters to the front beam to bring that back inline New stearing tie rod ends fitted to long stearing rod(see not below *) removed rag top cover and head liner ordered new rag top from the states so hopefully dry when that arrives(not that it was wet but original held together with duck tape) *MAY BE THE CLUB CAN COME TO MY RESCUE :-) need the smaller of the two steering rods (as mine is the original one which has the tie rods pressed in place )so if you can help or know of someone who has an old one they need to clear please get in touch PLEASE not worried about the tie rods as i have a new pair to go on -CASH WAITING (seems to help sometimes) Need some wide wings ?? but need to sell my empis first (to raise some much needed cash) NO OFFERS AS YET BOO-HOO NEXT WEEKEND gearbox comming out yipee as i have enlisted the help of the old man(safety really in case the box falls and does some damage to me somebody around) will also take the rear end back up (shame looks so low) fit small stearing rod (if you kind people come through) try to source some wide rear wings? ?? O yeah and drink lots of tea
