 About all golfy mk2 needs, as i am a goof virgin i want to know a lot a lot about them. So any info greatfully received, maybe we could catagorise all dubs like this??? Whatever. I'm after finding replacement carbs for a 1.8 8v mk2 golf. what alternatives to the Pierberg 2e2 are there other than the Weber DMTL? cheers folks! Steve

I'd have not bought one if i'd realised how much grief they'd cause!!!
U fancy a visit to mine one evening this week to have a gander at it.
I've still not got it running, but there is a leak where the coolant hoe from teh heater matrix joins the head (dodgy gasket i think)
looks like too much oil.
HAS A WEBER CARB!!!!!
