 need to lap my valves down and i dont have a valve spring compressor, can anyone lend me one please. i cant afford to go buy one! thanks Steve

done it, spent all saturday evening doing it!
all 8 are lapped in a treat a nice metal uniform band, all are perfect!"
just ready to put back together except...
i snapped a stud...
one that holds the water pipe thingy on the opposite end of the head to the pulley.
waht can i do?
