Looking on the web sites there only seems to be one standard type, Is it therefore safe to assume all inner wing repair panels are universal?  |

pretty much
but you may need to adjust them a touch.
I got complete rear quarters from heritage, they are actually genuine VW mexaco ones and are great!
i've been told to avoid GSF repair panels but i've had no grief with them either!
I have replaced pretty much every panel on my bug so i am now an authority!
