Getting close to finishing college where the work will start again, so i decided to have a look and see what else needs replace, and saw this: guessing thats not good news

massive hole found got it up on axle stands now, brakes arnt in bad nick really, just need to replace one cylinder in the time since my last post ive failed a driving test and lost my passion for driving and the car, but gradually getting it back, got the fuel tank out now, just need to source a mig welder. Also found out the exhaust doesnt need replacing, just needed to fix the heat exchanger Then i'll be well on my way cya at tomorrows meet hopefully

Chris i'd say its actually the shock sleeve judging by the pic. they're around a fiver... alsso new inner arches aren't scary money...

Rear Brakes sorted now, heat exchanger back on, couldnt do much with the heater box, so meh i have a coat Exhaust left to go on now, but theres a bolt not coming out somewhere so my uncle is sorting that. Just leaves front brakes welding and interior to do now. Gunna leave the welding till after Christmas though now. Almost done now

Thats the front discs back on, had just need to get the caliper bolts back in (when in doubt undo bolts that u think will help the caliper come off). Then get the pads in finish line in sight now, but im sure its gunna be a long race hahah

Pretty much sorted now. Conna has sorted out all my welding needs, great work! Just need to get the accelerator pedal fixed on and the bonnet back on. A few engine issues, well air leak im guessing, a hiss. But for some normal wings for it, cause mine are oversized. So heres what I've done [im Matte Black Also, Bella is a new car. She is now called Bucket! Cause buckets dont have holes, and shes got around abit... 16 owners... need I say more

MOT Monday, but my Uncles lending me his trade plates over the weekend to bed the brakes in. Cannot wait so hopefully i'll be driving about in no time, have passed my test for 3 months now! haha

The last couple have been hell on this, I cant afford to keep chucking money at it anymore and seeing no progress. Had 3 quotes and they range from £3000-£2000 for the work to be done. And the stuff that needs fixing is way past my knowledge So I'm selling it for whatever price it gets the next couple of weeks. Buying a 97 polo in a couple of weeks as well, so will make bug jam this year haha! Give it a couple of years and I'll have a bug again, or when I can afford to fix one up.
