List of what i'm replacing at the moment.
New chrome trim New exhaust due to big hole New Interior Vw doomed hubs cabs New carpets Tombstone indicators New wings front and back to replace chunky fiberglass ones One window catch Rear seatbelts. All I can think of at the moment
My uncle is going to have an in depth look to see what welding is needed and see if anything in the engine needs replacing (he works at HI-TECH down telford estate thing)
Then eventually sand it down, get rid of the bubbles and repaint
Going to be a restoration project i think now

ive got the bonnet off now, to address the problem of why it opens so weird and wont stay up, bent springs and fixtures. Also taken all the interior panels off to find that the 2 bolts that hold the upright part of the bench secure are not there, pics 2moro

They are prolite wheels. Cost around £80 each new. So given they are used and probably not mint, id say put them up in vzi sale section for around £150 and see where you go.
