Right... Latest plan... Meet at the Priory/McDonalds just off the Wilby roundabout on the A45 in Wellingborough at 6.30pm/6.40pm on Friday evening. Cruise down to Epsom, set up temporary camp for the night...cup of cocoa....and off to bed!! Early on Saturday morning (7am ish), pack up enough to join the queue as near to the front as poss for the convoy down. Whilst waiting in queue...pack up further, make some brekkie, or catch a few more zzzz's! Leave in the convoy to head to Brighton... ...and from here on in, I lose my bossy streak (at least for a while!! ). How does that all sound?

Is it worth me putting the tent up on friday night will be really late by the time we get down there....... just as well sleeping in the car that night (or trying too ) Do the sea front thing and then get sorted at the next camp. Unless I leave early friday and set up camp...... but can i save places down there ?? did you last year? and how many would i have to save......? Who is coming down........? do we know..........? all these questions and so little time...................... Cheers tricky

Ok, there is loads of room at Hook Road, so can't see there being a huge problem saving space...although if it was not possible, can always meet up in the morning.
The following space will be needed...
Looby and Andy - 1 camper Stred and Mand - 1 camper Spen and Caroline - 1 camper Spen's neighbours - 1 camper Tricky T and Rachel - ?
Entirely up to you what you want to do. Obviously we just need to make our bed when we get there, as we are not worrying about awning for just a night. Also, there is not much to do (if anything) at Epsom, so not too worried about what time we arrive.
We headed down early last year - which really was a waste of time, as we just spent the evening getting cold!!
Are you seriously thinking about kipping in the car? (what car are you coming in?)
I would ideally like to be in the convoy as close to the front as poss, as last year, we didn't arrive at Brighton until gone lunchtime, and would like to get there earlier this year, and hopefully get parked up more in the thick of the show.
Let us know what you decide to do.
Loobs x
