And it can be whatever you want it to be! If you want a one day event - then just head down to Brighton for the day on the Saturday... or, if you want the full experience (our preferred choice)... ...then drive down to Epsom on the Friday - camp overnight with a few bevvies - then convoy down to Brighton with about 800 other VWs - Enjoy your day in Brighton on the front - then head up to the racecourse for camping overnight with entertainment/bands/silly dressing up/excess alcohol etc - then brekkie at the Marina Cafe - followed by a cruise home with the KUDC!! Altogether it = an awesome weekend!!

Hi guys, like the sound of this one but am really short at mo, can i get away with booking nearer the time? You'll be OK for the over night on Friday in London and the run & Parking on the sea front. BUT The thing is they only have something like 300 camping spaces at Brighton race track. The other thing, is you only pay for your bus/ car not per person and it's something like 35 quid

So from what I can gather, the following nutters are booked up for camping in October at Brighton Breeze... Stred and Mand Looby and Andy Spenny and Caroline Tricky T There were murmerings from Sochrisash that he might want to come...if you do Chris, can you let us know asap, and are you jumping in with us or Mand and Stred? Anyone else secretly booked up? Or is anyone just coming straight down to Brighton for the day? Let us know your plans. Right - for the hardcore (see list above) this is what I'm proposing... Leave Higham at about 5pm on Friday (no point rushing down to sit in the car park that is the M25!!). Will bring packed tea with us to nibble in bus en route, then won't have to worry about cooking when we get to Epsom (which I estimate will not be until about 9pm ish (going on experiences from past years). How does that sound for everyone? If we need to change the leaving time to accommodate working hours, just let us know. Loobs x ;D

All sounds ok to me but surely that means we will be putting the tents up in the dark? ?? take it there are no lights down there. O well may need some extra headlights If your all up for a laugh at mine and Rachels expence Cheers All tricky Having spoken to Spenny, we're possibly thinking about leaving even later than I originally stated (maybe about 6.30pm). Apparently, they are doing work on the M25 so it is down to two lanes in places, so think maybe if we leave later, we could miss any major traffic. Either way, it will be dark when we arrive. That leaves you with two choices...either leave earlier on in the day so you arrive whilst it is light (and we'll find you when we get there), or come late with us, and we'll beam our lights in your tent building direction! ;D What do you reckon?
