hi folks, are you going to vanfest this year ? if the answer is no, then please read on and concider this event as an alternative. www.shoe-county-september-sleepover.co.uk/the first event was held last year at billing aquadrome and was enjoyed by all that attended. the event is basically a chilled out affair for like minded vw folk as a last fling n finarly for the season. plenty of smiles n good times n fun n games, plenty of boozing and sharing stories round the camp fire. hey stred, your sports day kit would go down very very very well at this one mate. your all a fantastick bunch in this club and it would be super fantastick to have some of you come along. its not far to travel and above all its blooming cheap. take a look at the sleepover web site and if your free for this weekend then please pencil it into your diary. anyways peace n hairgrease, hope to see you there lots of love

It doesn't need to be an alternative to Vanfest this year, because Vanfest is being held the weekend before the Shoe County September Sleepover!

Sounds good. Even if we can't make it to camp for all of it, we'll definitely try to come over to see you guys at some point over the weekend.

Wasn't knocking the charity thing, I just think it'a bit steep to charge that for kids. Gonna be an expensive weekend just to sit around a camp fire if you've got 2 or 3 kids. Just what else are you getting for that - it's all a bit vague. You don't even have to pay for kids at Action

You don't even have to pay for kids at Action Hi Tin Solider there is a phone number on the site if you have any queries about the event, but to be honest if you think the price is too steep or your concerned about the kids then there are other events in September that may offer more for less. this is a very laid back event and is not a massive corporate one like Action or Bug Jam so the price needs to offset the cost of renting the area out. give them a call or an email. i am sure they will be more than happy to answer your questions. hope this is of some help
