Was looking on Machine 7 site last night as I need to get rear seat belts fitted in my bug too.
They had inertia reel ones for approx £39 quid each.
Don't know about fitting them though as I'm just an inept girlie!!
Can anyone tell me whether a stock '71 1300 would have mounting bolt holes or will I have to check?

Would of thought a '71 should have them you will need to weld some brackets in place if not I have to do this in the '60 for the girls but going for static as the inertia reels ,take up space. When i do it will let you know and take pics. Cheers tricky t

Have booked the bug into DG's to get the seatbelts fitted soon. Took it over for Dominic to check first, to see whether the mountings had been welded over. I was a bit chuffed that none of them had, and he was gobsmacked that each mounting hole still had their original caps on them! ;D

Just make sure your new seat belts are EEC approved, as otherwise there not legal regards your MOT. I'm sure this is right however Muskrat is the man too ask to be shore, fore now to shore
