So - we met up with Chopper Chris and Jenny at 8am this morning, and set off for Skeggy!
We arrived in Skegness shortly after 10am, and got parked up...us in general parking (after being asked if we were going in the show and shine!!!!
, and me replying, "Er...no!"),
...and Chris and Jenny with the Type 3 display.
...where we also spotted 1-star's old square...
Alot of great vehicles there - both in the show and shine, and in the general parking...
Mr Afwo's bug (which won the 'Prosign's Choice' award)...
Micky boy's newbie...
Jopro's Polo...
This bug was gorgeous, and won the 'People's Choice' award...
KUDC by the sea...(with Chris doing his catalogue pose)...
Tony (mr afwo) was doing his thing with graffiti demos, so we watched him make a start...
...then decided to head into town for a bit.
We looked round some shops, went to the pub, met up with Andy's dad (who lives in Skeggy), then went and had fish and chips!
We then decided that a trip to the seaside would not be complete without a game of 'Crazy Golf'...
Chris won the golf, with Andy coming in last with a score or 20 over par!!!
We then wandered back along to the show, just in time to hear the awards being announced.
We went to watch some skaters at the skate park, where some women roller skaters were taking part in a roller derby - the strangest thing I have ever witnessed....basically they skated around, then when a woman blew a whistle, most of them dived onto the ground, and then got up and carried on!!
Just before we left for home - I took one last photo of Tony's graffiti work

We had a fab day - and will definitely head back again next year!
