1303s silencer

Things are happening so fast now, 11 days left of bellas mot, and i could be driving soon so i really need to get a move on.

I have a little extra money this month and need a new silencer, but not to sure where to buy. Its 1600cc ive seen a few on justaircooled and justbeetles etc etc

So whats the best for me money

oh and some tips of where to buy new brakes and wheel bearings would help (thats for next month)

I have a pair of front discs for the super...
Also GSF for consumables, brakes etc are always good in my opinion.
THe silencer is a standard 1600 one, if you run heat in your bug that's probably best.
DONT BUY a monza 4tip or a glass pack (not worth it) either go stock, or quiet pack or full-blown merged header and mondo muffler for a bit more breathability, they cost around 200quid tho, so probs best stick to stock.... with funky tailpipes!

Chris what is your car like for hidden rot? 1303's are rot boxes so make sure you have a good look all around the car mate.

rot isnt to bad, theres some, but a lot of it was either welded with a previous owner or filled, worst rot is at the bottom of the doors, guess i'll see more when i get it up on a lift

any places i should look?
