i hit a pot hole in the bug and my airbag warning light has come on, i have read into it and it only needs resetting. can use Vag-Com but i dont know anyone who has one and vw will charge me far too much, can anyone help me. need it doing ASAP. many thanks in advance a few drinks are in it to help me.

ive got a VAG fault code reader you can pop round and give it a go cheers

i have been told that its going to be 47 airbag vw??? er i dont speak this language so can someone please translate for me. Fast 65 i may take you up on your offer if this code can be cleared easy.

it will clear its self once its fixed, check the connections on the sensor on your front bumper they fail on newbies im sure there is a recall from vw on some years

I guess your bug has seat airbags, we find at work 3 door cars suffer with wiring faults under the seat because of sliding the seats to allow passengers entry to rear (possibility perhaps) which puts a strain on wiring and terminal connectors. I have to nip into work tomorrow, i will try and find out what airbag 47 is. I will let you know if i find out tomorrow.
