Is the stud part of the head or is it a seperate bolt ? Can you undo all remaining bolts and remove the exhaust ? If so would a set of mould grips get on it for removal ?

easy way to get a snapped bolt out . had to do it on my bike many atime . basicly drill into the bolt with a small drill bit and then when u put the drill into reverse it should come out with it . failing thay u can get bolt extractor drill bits .
hope this helps

I'm taking that the stud sheared due to have welding itself in to the head with rust ?
Ways to remove are
1/ focused heat on the stud I.E. Oxy acetylene (only if the head casing is thick enough to take the localised heat distortion without cracking). The stud must be heated to dull-cherry red for this to work, then allowed to cool and only then attempt to remove.
2/ you could try running acid into the thread and see if you can dissolve the rust and then remove with a stud extractor or similar.
3/ drill out and then re-tap the hole to the correct thread, this has to be done accurately and with some taken over it, rush any stage of this procedure and you've wasted your time.

Cheers all. Sorry very late in reading the replys. I bassically had no choice but to bolt everything back on as i needed to get over to Luton. I'm actually surprised its not blowing (yet lol). I'll get another gasket set and a stud in a couple of weeks and try the mole grip method Thanks again everyone
