I think if you've run it flat you will need to take the battery off and use a battery charger, leave it on charge (probably for 24 hrs or at least overnight!) Then see what happens.... Thats what Jim does...I only know because the battery gets put on charge in the kitchen ha ha Katie x

You can borrow ours Pm me your address and Jim will drop it round either before 3pm or after 9pm as he's at work in between! (It is Pytchley where you live isn't it?) Not sure about a Battery indicator if your engine isn't turning over....charge your battery first if that doesn't work it could be a sticky starter motor or something draining the battery maybe Katie x

Also check the state of each of the cells to see what the overall charge is, if one of the cells has collapsed even if the battery is at full charge, it will only be delivering about 10 volts. In which case it will certainly not start the engine.
