Hey guys. I need to fit a sump to a mk2 golf 1.3 but i cant get to two of the bolts as the seem to be under the gearbox. Am i being really stupid or what but if i don't get it done soon im not getting it done for bug jam. Steve seemed to get it of easy peasy so i must be missing something. Help please quick haha. There is a quarter section of pressed metal which makes up the bottom section of the front of the Bell housing, basically this is a clutch inspection plate or cover, remove this and it will allow access to the rear two bolts which hold the sump pan on ;D P.S. some models of Flywheel have two slots machined in the back face of the fly wheel plate, this is to allow access to the bolt heads using a socket and drive, The Polo is one I can't remember if the Golf is the same.
