Good to see it going ahead! Give the bay some of the smooth treatment while it's out, are you going to degrease it all & clean it up?

yeh its going to need to be cleaned up and something done as theres some surface rust showing, also undecided if to change wiring loom as all wires are showing looks as if at some point the tape has been removed or stripped!! bit bizzare eh may try just getting some tape & re doing them as think new loom be expensive & bit of a job..... but yeh the removal of engine is once at last on its way lol

lol with the wiring if in doubt, get it checked out. Last thing you want is it all going up in flames Maybe paint the engine bay gloss black, will or a bright colour to offset the white bodywork.... can do it all with some blue hammerite & a brush

Which reminds me... I have some blue rustoleum combicolour if you want, we'll not use it and its a great paint. I believe it is a synthetic enamel.. dunno what that means tho!

they are a b!tch! grab a HUGE screwdriver and just lever them off. To get them back on is more of an issue. You need a special tool, i ended up borrowing one from a mate who own's a garage and even he had to borrow it! Cant really be done without it tho! Oh the paint is for metal, cars, whatever, we painted hayley's bug wth it, but she's gone off the colour and when it's re-sprayed it will be different. Take it easy anyway mate!
