Evening all!

Just thought I'd say hi seeing as I'm probably the newest member on here!

My name's Josh and I live in Thrapston. I've been a VW junky all my life and have only ever owned VWs. It kind of runs in the family as my dad has been through more Veedubs than you can shake a stick at and is very handy when it comes to restoration! And just for good measure, my sister's part of the Veedub faithful too.

I currently own a 1967 one year only 1500 Deluxe , and an old B3 Passat estate that I use for the donkey work!

Anyway, that's all for now; no doubt I'll meet some of you soon.

Awesome! I live in Islip and work at coop!, and have a very poorly 1303s, and avoiding chucking it, but yeh.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the friendly welcome to the club. I've been spreading the KUDC gospel since I found the site, and there may be a few more people I know signing up soon!

As for my bug, she's currently under the car port feeling rather naked as I've totally stripped her arse end out ready for some welding! She'll look much better for it though after I've repaired the damage that a previous owner did trying to make a removable rear valance! I wouldn't mind, but the '67 only rear valances are as rare as rocking horse $hite! Luckily I have managed to source a replacement, but it's going to need a bit of dollying and the odd repair, but it'll be fine.

And Sochrisash, what's wrong with the 1303s? If you work in the Co-op, I've no doubt walked past you many a time!

Ah, where do I start, well theres a few little jobs which I've done but the big ones are, the steering mounting points, and suspension mounting points, but theres nothing to weld to, so sorta needs a whole new underside haha! gunna buy another bug if I get rid though
