Hey guys,names Jordan, recently bought something Ive wanted since the age of about 12 (Im 18 now), a 1972 beetle, from a guy called michael in kettering (Im sure some of you will know him) Some pictures:   |

nice , micky is a good guy , went college with him , and nar matt it was from welli but then moved to highfield

yeah hes still helping me out, dropping engine soon to clean and do rocker gaskets, tonight Ive ordered wolfsberg window winders (bargain £14 on machine 7), rocker gaskets, brake hoses and a clutch conduit. Then I want to go for original style running boards with trim and some other bits
Paint will be done when Ive saved enough money, but main aim at the mo is to stop the oil leak

It is possible to change rocker gasket without dropping engine. I've the scare to prove it! ;D. Welcome to forum by the way. |

cheers guys and 7th may sounds good, I mean the rocker cover gasket, and j tubes are going on because one of the ones fitted at the moment has a hole so you can hear me from the other side of northamptonshire. I bet someone can fit without dropping the engine haha

The date of the next meet is usually on the News fader at the top of the main page - you may need to wait for it to scroll round. |

There's usually about 10 - 15 of us at a meet...ages vary....but we're a nice bunch...if not slightly bonkers!! ;D |

ah right not too bad, at least I fit in with the bonkers side haha got some new bug parts yesterday! clutch conduit, rear brakes, steering damper...oh and wolfsberg edition window winders are on special £14 something pence on machine 7  |
