Continuing on from the The 'almost' Brighton Breeze pics thread...
So - 05.00am and we put Plan B (aka bug and tent) into action...
We had a really good run down, and 'Hector' was fantastic...
...arrived to meet Stred and Mand where they had spent the night by 8.20am...
Drove down to Madeira Drive, and after a short wait, we were parked up in a great spot...
Found a cafe on the front for breakfast, and watched all the other dubs rolling in...
Had a wander a long the front...
'Hector' enjoying the sea air and sunshine after his long drive...
Although it was still quite early, Brighton Beach was already filling up....
We then headed onto the pier for what has become our traditional visit to the 'Dolphin Derby - here we are with our prizes!
After a wander around, we headed up to the racecourse to set up camp for the night...it was as always very busy up there...
And I love this bus...it's from one of Ollie's favourite Cbeebies programmes!
In the evening, we headed over to the evening entertainment...
Pam and Ian were there too...
During the evening we popped outside to watch the Poi Circus Fire Show...
Despite being absolutley knackered (after our 5am start), we had a great night.
Woke up in the morning and got packed up. Then we headed down to out favourite cafe for breakfast...
...where Stred was doing 'E.T.' impressions...
Fab weekend - and the weather was just unbelievable!
