Some of you may know some of you don't but I have recently brought pet snakes
Just done a home made photo shoot of them and thought I'd share
The first snake I got is a banded California king snake called Nathan. I named him after the deaf person out of angry boys and it is an approprite name because he is an angry snake. One scent of warm skin and then he wants to bite/eat you so rubber gloves are a must. At the moment he is about 2 and a half foot, and fully grown will get to just over 5 foot. So here he is
After that I got a common boa constrictor and named him Barry. He was an 18th birthday present from mum and he is awesome. He is so calm and can be handled anytime of day any number of times and will not care. He makes me jump everytime i feed him as he strikes like a machine fully grown he will be between 6 and 8 foot and weigh up to 30kg and eat rabbits.
Next was another king snake, but this time female, striped and albino, and called Natalie. She is 2 months old and is so hard to feed, tried everything but not much is working She is also very friendly and can be handled a lot. She will grow to the same size Nathan being the same kind of snake.
Last of all I got a Bredl's Python. She is awesome!! Native from Australia so my mates named her Terri Irwin and it kinda stuck. She is arboreal meaning she lives in trees. When fully grown she could easily exceed 9 foot 9!!! She has small scales and feels like silk to touch. She also is VERY home defensive and hates anything going in there with her so I have made a snake hook out of a hanger, pencil and electrical tape
Me using the hook
But once out and calmed down she is friendly, but I still wouldn't want to put my hand in front of her face (her teeth are of a reasonable size already)
Hope you like them
