So, after taking our van, Vera, off the road last August, she has sat tucked up in the garage awaiting her operation! Well, the pre-op has commenced! Bits stripped off... Crap removed to make room for work to happen! Some investigative grinding... Welder awaiting some action... Will update (for anyone that still frequents this place) as and when things happen! Hoping to have some panels arrive midweek.

So, the wheel arch is done, but oh dear...more holes have appeared! Luckily, after a quick tea and crumpet break, Simon is still in good spirits! (Either that or he is slightly hysterical! )

New front panel arrived, and the boys cut out that annoying raised circle, and welded in flat steel...Managed to get the panel held in place, only for the welding gas to run out! So the engine got a bit of attention instead... A few days on, and the upper front panel is welded into place, along with the blanking plates for the high indicators. Lower front panel is being held in place and the bumper on to check that will fit! And while Simon has been doing the hard graft...Andy did a bit of painting of the fan housing!

So...lower front panel has been welded on...indicators on their way... First indicator in position... And that door we got at Dubfreeze (4 years ago) has finally made it onto the bus!

Both indicators in (the correct way round now! ), and the front is looking pretty good!
