Hi my name is Michaela and I am new on here - Hello everyone We have a 71 beetle that we are just starting to restore as a family. My husband and 17 year old daughter are hoping there is a group near Rushden or in kettering. If there is can anyone tell me where, when and at what time. I would be so grateful. thank you so much Michaela Hi there...welcome to the forum!! This club is the most local to us (we are in Higham Ferrers). Are you in Rushden then, or Kettering? As a club, we meet every three weeks on a Tuesday at the Hobson's Choice pub in Kettering...about 7.30pm. Our next meet is actually going to be our 1st Birthday meet on the 5th February...so it would be great if you guys could come over and see us. We're usually hanging around in the car park outside the pub...so you can't really miss us!! ;D ;D ;D Don't worry if you can't come over in your dub...quite a few of our members come in their daily vehicles...due to their dubs being restored/mended etc. We also try to attend shows, both locally, and further afield. Our first show of the year is going to be 'Dubfreeze' on Sunday 17th Feb. Details of a convoy will be posted as soon as we are organised. We've also got a bowling night planned for Friday 22nd Feb - come and join us if you can. Anyway...I appear to have waffled on for ages...sorry if I've overloaded you with info... ...but welcome...and we look forward to meeting you soon!!

We usually meet at the Market Square in Higham at 7.15pm on the night of the meets (next one being the 5th Feb)...so we can convoy over to Kettering together. You are more than welcome to meet us there, and convoy over with us, if you like. ;D Just give us a shout if you fancy it.

Thank you so much for your friendship, it is so amazing. They will go straight to the pub in case her dad is late from work. She is so excited about coming to the meet. They are doing the car together to build her confidence. The car is my baby but am happy to hand it over to her as she is as passionate about it as I am. They are going to the "Dub Freeze" together and hope to get loads of ideas. Our Beetle needs a lot of work and they need a lot of advice. Thank you all so much Michaela
