Welcome dude, and AFAIK none of our members bother with MJP Most of our guys go to D.G.s in Wellingborough or go to a garage on Bath Rd Kettering. Never used em myslf but try P.M.ing theanimalbus, nopies, or mooji coz they have used em and have been mega happy with the results. What's up with the Polo?

I had that problem on my old F reg polo. Turned out that the rubber diaphram thing in the carb had gone which meant that the choke wouldn't operate. If it's that type of polo, take the air filter box off the top and look at the top of the carb. If the flap is all the way open and won't close when you try and start it that could well be the problem. Part costs about £18 and takes about half an hour to fit
