I gave the old girl and clean and wax ;D, oh and just as a secondary measure I thought that I would check the oil level ,and screen wash bottle, well I glad I did as the oil level was near the minimum, and the screen wash was empty  , not very good for the Golf doctor. NOTE: TO SELF :, as well as helping to fix other peoples dub's, it a good idea too look after your own at the same time, you stupid Muppet" ;D Nige...what are ya like??  Glad your golf got a bit of love from you today!!  yes I know I felt very foolish, and rather embarrassed about it all, there's me banging on to others about maintenance and I can't even keep on top of my own stuff. A case of "do as I say and not as I do" and yes I'll say it again what a Muppet. P.S. I'm back on the MK1 polo with Karl tomorrow thats of course it he lets me after reading this. ;D |

Gave it a bloody good clean, to remove all the dust it was covered in (generated by spraying bloody skateboards ) Now looks like this, nice and shiny   |

Looking really good...lovely and shiny!!  Are you coming over to the SCD meet on Wednesday?  Doubt it, but will be at ours, Do I have to get the first like the first time. |

Had a few more hours on Mr and Mrs buses Polo project, unfortunately we could not get the Polo to start, this was due too no fuel, as everything has been removed and then put back, followed by fuel and air leeks, followed finally by too much fuel and a flat battery  Anyway, the car's battery is back on charge so that it will be ready for another attempt later in the week. However if this does not make any difference then I will change the course of treatment. |

;D ;D ;D ;D got engine built up on bench ready to go back in tues night looks good ,slave cylinder and pipe sorted, new clutch I also found some nice switches for me electrics in the back which are in place ready to go on to me spair battery YIPPIE!!!!!!! nice one conna dude, hope you get it all sorted today, is it a big lump ? ;D ;D ;D |

Bloody hell  , not at this time of night. Yes I know your garage ghost well, please tell him I want my 6mm Hex head Allen key back please. Well I worked till 9 PM too night so I'm not feeling too guilty. So will you be going to SCD in the bus, or not  Oh and yes what I did on my dub was Tax the old girl to keep her legal. |

We're certainly hoping to go in the bus!! So far, everything has worked at some stage or another, but when all put back into place...it all goes pear shaped again!! |

You know me Lucy if it was a mechanical problem I would adorn the Golf Doctor custom and fire up the golf doctors golf mobile and come over, however electric are not my field of medicine ;D
I hope they don't spend all night on it, as I know what a nightmare wiring can be. So give them my best and tell them if its not done by 2.00AM its not going too be finished so GET TOO BED BECAUSE THE DOCTOR SAYS SO.

Today I've been mainly been working on the AnimalPolo again ;D and yes this time I got the old girl running but the ignition timing needs a little adjusting, however time plus a flat battery means that it will have too wait till another day.  Oh and ordering new parts for my sewing machine which is suddenly getting very expensive, and I've not even used it yet, how does £50.00 for a foot crab you. |
