Needed a new shoe for the Vectra today (MOT is looming) and mentioned to the boss that the last one cost me £104, which was a tad steep.
He sent me down to Albion Tyres, Albion St, just off Rockingham Rd. Anyways this bloke gets part worns from the Fatherland and does them for plentymuchcheapness.
For my motor he did me a good Pirelli, same as on the other 3 corners for £20!!!!!
I asked about tyres for beetles and it turns out he has a pretty good stock of 155/15 and 165/15s, Firestones and Michelins, fitted and balanced for £15 a pop.
Worth a look if you've got a bug with standard rims
