Hi there, your bus used to belong to misterp from the SCD. Before he owned it it was a sound off van (full of speakers) hence the insulation, massive alternator and Cerwin-Vega door panels (if it still has them). It was known as 'The Firestarter'.The screw-in electrical port on the front panel was for the external head unit, the inside would have had too much vibration for the cd player. The engine is a 2 litre I think and Mark had it IRS'd. The later rear lights were apparently upgraded by the german fire service whilst still in service. Mark drove this van to Italy to do some cycling in the mountains and had some adventures, maybe you should speak to him or try speaking to Firestarter on the Talk Audio forum. www.thefirestarter.net/You'll have to bring it to the SCD meet some time? Hope this has been helpful to you?

Hi Nijyboy Thanks very much for the info, I have just been lookin at the website you have posted and I have found lots of info that I never knew about the bus. So just wanted to say "thanks a lot, its really appreciated". Its pretty much the same van just ripped out the insides ready to do some welding on it. Have put CSP brakes on the front, has M.O.T and I am driving it around hopefully going to the next meeting in Kettering. You van is cool as, got to get some safaris on mine! ;D ;D
