Gorgeous weekend, but Brummie is in Birmingham and has my car so I'm marooned at her place in Thrapston with nowt for entertainment but the web and a full day of American Hotrod on Discovery Turbo.
What's everyone else been up to?

Got the engine back in the Bug yesterday (on my own  ), now I know how they built the pyramids. Connected all services this morning and it ran, so fingers crossed everything ok. If I'd known you could've come and helped me  |

Blimey I wish mine only needed that fot a test!! ;D Karl got me 2 good whhels for it, but it needs mega work before it sees the road again. Would go over and some bits to it but it's a long walk up the A14  Never mind, theres plenty ofclenaing to do here plus the kids next door are keeping me busy as they keep kicking thier football over the fence! you coming up tuesday night? |

I went to Brixworth country park, and had a picnic we some of my fellow members from SCD, and had a great time. A lot of which was spent watching just how many people really don't have a clue how to park and reverse the cars. Plus taking the P*** out of the old women on car parking duty who turned up mid-afternoon and started ordering everyone about,(I don't no, give someone a Fluorescent jacket and they think there running the country ) |
