damb i was hopin for a catostophic explosion and a few wheels to come off. but andy being as super as he can be un-clicks his seat belt winds down the window dives out dose a front flip out the window. he then pulls out a fire extingwisher and puts out the inferno nige then comes screechin round the corrner with a tork wrench ready to greece his flanges and put the wheels on. lulu then chugs down the road spottin the disarster makes a sharp left and gets out her batrrery starter and starts the golf. andy then has to bribe the others to stay quite and say they were never there. andy gose home and brags about his day out hopin to be the hero only with some slightly scoorched hair. That's kinda what I was expecting to happen! especially as I was involved, but unfortunately nothing that exciting happened.

glad to hear it all went well andy, but the noisy belt is down you mate i never touched it. Has the water leak on the hose housing gone away now, well done to you and nige my van engine next then, see ya Yeah, theres still little leak, but nothing serious! It's funny you should say about your engine, as nige was saying It would be nice to have a aircooled engine to tinker about with! Although, It would probably be better to have a knackered one that we could strip down! Wouldn't want to make yours any worse.

yep, there seams a lot of interest in me looking at a air cooled motors, I wonder why ;D. So anyone with an old engine who want to donate it to the clubs show and tell day (going soon to a cinema near you) then please let us know the plan is too spend a day at Andy's and Lucy's and strip down an old engine so everyone can have a look and ask questions. Plus give me a chance to have a play without breaking anything, thats not already broken. As too the golf, the only fault with it now is the driver I've already told him off for giving it to much gas on the test run on Saturday, telling him to keep the rev's down during the running in period Lucy's has told me he's a bit of a rev junkie when he's behind the wheel, a little tip for you Andy, you don't have to wait until the tachometer hits the red line before changing gear, as you did in the Mazda honest M8 ;D
