yeaterday in the snow steve broke my reverse gear somehow. Iit was working then it came out of gear and wont go bank in reverse at all but all other gears work fine. Opinions people! (please)

i got her home for f^£$ sake!
and i took a poorly vectra SRI all the way to northampton GSF to get bits and if you've seen her driving, you would not moan about mine!!!!

In my humble opinion ;D Don't let Steve near your bug  As too the reason it could be one of many things , a shift linkage adjustment problem, bent or damaged shift fork, weak thrust spring on that shaft or even a damage gear, reverse or intermediate. So can you select reverse at all, and if so does the gear engage, or does it jump out of gear as soon as power and load is applied. |

Steve dude, I am sure that you did not mean to go out of your way yesterday, in such awful weather conditions, and obviously it must have been an accident to respond to a text message asking for help, Next time you should be more careful as to who you try your upmost to help, No complaint's here |
